Quire is being made by Analogue Media. This page explains what happens to the details you give us on this site.
Who is responsible
Analogue Media Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 15991972, with its registered office at Trinity Church, 14A Queen Square, Bath BA1 2HN. For anything about your details, write to hello@quire.software.
What we keep
Only what you type into the form: your name, your firm’s name if you give it, and your email address. With them we keep the time you sent the form and the words beside the button you pressed, so there is a record of what you asked for.
What we do with it
We use it for one thing: to tell you when Quire opens. When you send the form, we email you once to say it arrived, with a link to remove your details, and we email ourselves to say you’ve asked. We don’t add you to any other list, and we never sell or share your details.
We do this because you asked us to. You can change your mind at any time, and we’ll delete your details.
Where it’s kept
Your details are kept in a database run for us by Supabase, in London. The emails are sent by Resend, an email delivery service, and ours arrive in our own inbox. The site runs on Cloudflare. Each of them acts only on our instructions, under a contract that requires them to protect your details, and where any of them handles data outside the UK, it does so with the safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
Until we’ve written to tell you Quire is open. Within a month of that, we delete the list and our copies of the emails it sent us. If you ask sooner, or use the link in our email, your details are deleted straight away.
Keeping robots out
So that the form can’t be used to fill strangers’ inboxes, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is using it. It loads only once you start on the form, looks at signals from your browser rather than anything you type, and isn’t used to track you. The site also counts how often the form is sent from one network address over a minute, and keeps nothing afterwards.
Cookies and counting visits
This site sets no cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, keeps nothing on your device and doesn’t follow you to other sites. It tells us how many people visit and which pages they read, not who they are. If you switch counting off, your browser remembers that choice, and nothing else.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to have a copy of it, or to correct or delete it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, please tell us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
